1. Overview
The Printing TLDR newsletter delivers focused intelligence on large format printing, DTF printing, print workflow, tools, business trends, and practical production insights. It is published by Printing TLDR, operated by Kjell Karlsson from Köping, Sweden.
The newsletter is published and archived through Beehiiv at newsletter.printingtldr.com. It is separate from any membership account, paid product, or tools platform account. Plain-language summary: You provide your email, confirm the subscription, and receive free Printing TLDR newsletter updates. No payment. No tools account. Unsubscribe any time.
2. Subscription and Double Opt-In
How Subscription Works
To subscribe to the Printing TLDR newsletter, you may need to:
- Provide a valid email address through a signup form on printingtldr.com or the Beehiiv-hosted newsletter page.
- Click a confirmation link in the email sent to you by Beehiiv, if double opt-in is enabled for the signup flow.
Your subscription may not be active until you complete any required confirmation step. If you do not confirm where required, you may not receive the newsletter.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe. The newsletter is intended for printing industry professionals and is not directed at consumers or minors.
One Email Per Subscription
Each email address corresponds to one subscription. The newsletter does not create a full user account, membership profile, or paid access tier. Your email address is the primary identifier for your newsletter subscription.
3. Newsletter Content
Newsletter editions may include:
- Large format and DTF printing news.
- Summaries, industry takeaways, and “Why It Matters” analysis.
- Production workflow commentary and practical operator context.
- AI, automation, and tools-related insights for print professionals.
- Upcoming events, market updates, and industry signals.
- Links to Printing TLDR articles, tools, guides, downloads, products, or external resources.
Editorial Standards
Printing TLDR maintains a vendor-neutral, production-first editorial standard. Content is selected based on operational relevance to print professionals. Printing TLDR does not accept payment from vendors in exchange for editorial coverage unless explicitly disclosed.
Frequency
The newsletter is generally sent on a regular publishing schedule. We reserve the right to adjust publishing frequency, skip editions, pause publication, rename newsletter products, or change the format without prior notice.
No Guarantees
While we aim to provide accurate, timely, and operationally relevant content, we do not guarantee specific outcomes from decisions made based on newsletter content. All editorial content reflects professional judgement and opinions at the time of publication.
4. Data Collection and Use
What We Collect
When you subscribe, we collect:
- Email address — required for newsletter delivery.
We may also collect signup source, timestamps, subscription status, email engagement data, and similar metadata through Beehiiv.
How We Use Your Email
Your email address is used to:
- Deliver the Printing TLDR newsletter.
- Send service-related communications about the newsletter itself.
- Share occasional Printing TLDR updates, resources, products, or related content relevant to print professionals.
- Measure newsletter performance and improve future editions.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
Email Engagement Tracking
Beehiiv, our delivery platform, may track standard email engagement metrics including opens, clicks, subscription status, referral attribution, and signup source. This helps us understand which content is useful and improve future editions. You can limit some tracking by disabling image loading in your email client.
For full details on how we handle personal data across all Printing TLDR services, read the Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Platform: Beehiiv
The newsletter is delivered through Beehiiv, a third-party email newsletter platform. By subscribing, you acknowledge that:
- Your email address and subscription metadata may be stored on Beehiiv’s servers.
- Beehiiv processes your data in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies.
- Email delivery, confirmation, preference management, and unsubscribe functionality are managed by Beehiiv’s infrastructure.
- The newsletter archive is available at newsletter.printingtldr.com.
