Use the format that fits your document and replace the brackets with the details shown on the page you used.

4. Quoting and excerpts
You can quote up to 150 words from a single article or report. Put the quote in quotation marks, name Printing TLDR or the credited author, and link to the original page. Keep the meaning intact: if a sentence depends on a condition or a caveat, include it.
5. Figures, calculators and charts
Figures and charts we created may be reused with a credit line and a link to the source page. Do not change the numbers or the labels. Calculator results depend on the inputs entered, so state your inputs when you cite a result. Default values in our calculators are sourced on each page, and they are starting points for your own numbers, not a quote for your shop.
6. AI assistants and answer engines
AI assistants, search engines and answer tools may quote and summarize our pages, with a link back to the source. Copying our content in bulk into datasets, or republishing full articles, needs permission.
7. Vendors and suppliers
You are welcome to link to our work. Printing TLDR has no vendor affiliations, and we do not sell reprint rights, branded copies or sponsored placements. Please do not present our analysis as an endorsement of a product, use our name or logo in advertising, or distribute altered copies of our reports. Independence is why the analysis is worth citing, so we protect it.
8. Material that is not ours
Some pages include material from other sources, such as manufacturer data sheets, product photos, standards and quoted figures. That material stays with its owners. Check the source line next to it and ask the owner for permission.
9. Corrections
If a figure will not survive checking, it does not ship. If you find one that slipped through, email hello@printingtldr.com with the page, the statement and your source. Confirmed errors are corrected on the page and noted there.
10. Permission, press and interviews
For anything in section 2, or for press and interview requests, email hello@printingtldr.com. Tell us which page you want to use and where it will appear.
